Courtesy of Streetsblog and the Livable Streets Network, here’s a nice interview/overview of how bus rapid transit might work on 1st and 2nd Avenue.
Now I’ve spent the past 5 years at least lobbying to anyone who’ll listen for 2nd Avenue Subway to get scrapped and replaced by a full 3-lane BRT corridor, alongside a pedestrian way. But it’s still nice to read actual experts breaking down the feasibility of this stuff.
