Newsday teases and Streetsblog (predictably) breaks down the new bike-share program to launch on Governors Island this Friday.

Starting Friday, bicycles will be available on Governors Island in New York Harbor _ at no cost to adults and children. Bike use will be free each Friday through Oct. 4.
