What’s Happening to NYC’s Garbage?

Not sure how I missed this, but Steve Cohen has a great piece about how New York City is actually producing less trash than it was just years ago. We’re “down” to 51,250 tons per week, from 54,205 tons/wk in 2005. This while the city’s population grows. Long way to go, but it’s a start.
